I’m attached to codeigniter, I know my way around but codeigniter as a a easy to use but now I want something more darring and so this is it, Symfony framework, I think I’ll be doing that in my vacation that starts in about a week

Ow yeah I screwed up completly I think, unfortunantly. It’s kind of a heavy realisation but this crappy school (‘KdG’) wasn’t the place to be for me. I made a very wrong turn in september, thinking that this school would really be it, then again all kind of troubles with the administration and one real nasty teacher that kind of threw me of…lying and denying all kinds of things that I know is right or that I know I deserve but because of their perverted way of rating I don’t have. SO I salute those persons knowing that I’ll be on top next year and that you can get &@#!%$, knowing that when I get my diploma at another school that I’ll be more, that I will know more, that I will be more.
It’s nice to see Google works to please it’s users, Gmail got a new feature: choosing your own style from a range of styles.
It’s more pleasing to the eye and the integration is better preformed then with live mail because styles sucks there and I have to use it for school every day, god I really hate it.
Begin this week I began to experiment with cakephp but there’s a downside, Cake is something like rails but unfortunately the framework has less good tutorials.
Now that I’m using Ubuntu 8.04 on my laptop as primary system, I had the chance to check out many things on it and it displeases me greatly. The bugs I found:
rails appname
and then
firefox 0.0.0.0:3000
I get rails version 2.0.2 and I already reinstalled ubuntu just for that
Ubuntu has issues and if I can get gentoo running on my laptop I’ll change gladly. Unfortunantly gentoo has problems in virtualbox something with xorg server so I have to check that out.
Where do you put AdSense when you manage a forum? It’s the question I’m thinking about for some days now. I’m trying different approaches every once in a while until I’m satisfied.
Just before you we get started, note that forums.webscriptz.be isn’t getting a lot of visitors, this is basically because I have to deal with big competitors in the same niche of the web. Also because I’m not promoting the place because, well I’m short of time and I don’t want to spend money on something that I can earn myself by doing the work AdSense does.
I’ve got my little theories on where to put AdSense on my blog, I don’t have the very best of designs for phpbb3 but I’m thinking positive.
